An Eco-Friendly HVAC Upgrade

Guelph, ON

Buchanan & Hall recently completed an installation project for Mike Schreiner, a Guelph resident committed to eco-friendly living. Our team installed an air source heat pump and a high-efficiency electric water heater, aligning with Mike’s goal of reducing and eventually eliminating his reliance on carbon-based gas appliances.

Mike Schreiner is actively transitioning to more sustainable living by minimizing the use of fossil fuels in his home. His decision to switch to electric-based heating and cooling systems, including modern HVAC solutions, reflects his dedication to combating climate change and promoting a healthier planet. This upgrade aligns with his personal values and serves as a strategic investment that promises significant savings on utility bills in the future.

Mike has been particularly thrilled with the smart thermostat feature, a key component of this modern HVAC system. He appreciates the convenience of being able to manage his home’s temperature remotely. Whether preparing his home for visitors or ensuring energy efficiency while he’s away, the remote control capabilities have proven to be an invaluable feature.

By choosing Buchanan & Hall for his HVAC needs, Mike Schreiner is not only enhancing his home’s sustainability but also paving the way for a greener future.

This air source heat pump system provides heating and air conditioning by transferring heat to and from outside using an eco-friendly liquid refrigerant. It extracts heat from the outdoor air for winter heating and expels heat outside during summer, ensuring year-round indoor comfort.

The unit’s adjustable inverter modulates according to the needs of the living space. This helps in sustaining a consistent room temperature, reducing energy consumption, and minimizing the noise level of both the indoor and outdoor units.
