COVID-19 Update:

05/15/2020 A Message to our Customers

May 15, 2020 – The health and safety of our employees and customers remains Buchanan & Hall’s top priority. As we continue to monitor the latest updates, recommendations and policies from the government and health agencies, we remain committed to doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Buchanan & Hall remains open for business. All our service technicians, installation crews and office staff are working.

Although we would prefer our customers to make alternative arrangements, we will be accepting walk-in traffic to our office starting Tuesday, May 19th. We will, however, require anyone entering our facility to follow strict social distancing standards.

We would prefer that any customer coming to our facility would call ahead. If you require parts, we can arrange a safe way to get parts to you. Customers who require service are asked to call or email us instead of coming to the office. Payments can be arranged over the phone, email or e-transfer.

We are accepting deliveries but would prefer if they are dropped either by the front door or the shipping door. We request that deliveries are not brought directly into the office.

Starting Tuesday, May 19th, we will be expanding our services to include all maintenance.

Prior to doing any service for our customers, we will be asking if they have been experiencing any flu like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with flu like symptoms.

We have given our technicians PPE and hand sanitizer, but they will not do service for customers that are currently experiencing flu like symptoms.

All employees who are sick will be asked to stay home. If they have flu like symptoms, we will ask that they contact their healthcare provider or public health department. If any of their close family members are sick, employees will be asked to stay home as well.

All employees will be encouraged to follow everyday precautionary measures such as:
– Avoiding contact with people who are sick
– Thorough and frequent hand washing
– Avoiding touching their face, eyes, nose or mouth
– Avoiding touching other persons hands, tools or phones
– Covering their mouth and nose with their arm if they cough or sneeze
– Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces
– Avoiding all non-essential travel.

As the situation evolves, we will continue to review these measures to ensure we are doing our very best to protect our employees and our customers. We want to do our part in helping keep our communities safe.
