Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is the process of installing geothermal pipes, water lines and/or conduit underground while bypassing surface level obstacles such as buildings, septic beds, driveways, patios, and other man-made or natural barriers.
HDD creates a tunnel underground beneath the obstacle, through which pipe or cable can then be pulled, reducing disruption at a site. Our experience allows us to do HDD safely and properly, often in close proximity to other buried utilities.
Buchanan & Hall uses this HDD process primarily for our geothermal ground loops. It minimizes the disruption to lawns and allows many home owners who were previously unable, due to obstatcles, to install a ground souce heat pump.
We also have the ability to install various other services. Contact us for pricing information. |
